My Husband and I love this place. We have been regulars since they opened and the quality of the food is consistently exceptional, the staff are lovely, incredibly hard working and very welcoming. This place is an absolute gem! The food is delicious, perfectly seasoned, and prepared with great care. The dish I tried was a true culinary delight. The service is outstanding – professional, incredibly friendly, and welcoming. It was also a lovely touch that they served a small appetizer at the beginning, which made the experience even more special. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back!
Myself and my wife have just been to sumac for our first time and WOW!!what a place,vibrant,busy,amazing authentic decor,quick and friendly service,amazing hot meze starter to share and then asked when we wanted our main which was nice to wait a bit before the main feast was brought out.unreal food,tasty and plentiful for both mains.my wife had 2 lovely mojitos and I opted for a couple of efes.food was so filling that I had to ask for my baklava to be boxed up and taken away to eat at home and it was just as good as everything else tonight. We will definitely be back with family to enjoy more great food and atmosphere 5* all round
Brilliant Turkish restaurant in Hinckley. Went to Anfield to watch the game, then back home to Watford. Feeling peckish so googled restaurant’s halfway between the 2 destination and this is perfect for dinner or lunch. The food was exceptional and the staff super friendly - shout out to Piash who was excellent and made us very welcome at the restaurant. Started off with fresh bread with home made chilli sauce (amazing) and garlic. Then mix hot mezze, fresh and tasty. Special grill which comes with a mix of meat - chix wings, lamb ribs, chix and lamb shish, chix beyti, rice & bulgar wheat. The marinade was spot on and meat was cooked to perfection. Chix was moist and the lamb just melted in your mouth. For a Sunday evening the atmosphere was chilled out whilst still busy so you could still relax with family and enjoy the food. Hats off to the chefs, keep up the good food, will be coming back here if I’m near the area. Little gem
Echoing many of the reviews here. This place is sensational. Kader made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Service was exceptional and the food was certainly up to the same standards! Such a well run place and I fully recommend any of the Beyti dishes - some of the best food I’ve had
Great food and great atmosphere! This was 5/5 experience and highly recommend the chicken beyti! The portion is really generous! We also tried the mixed grill with lamb and chicken cubes. Flavour was 5/5 but the portion was a bit small. It came with 6 pieces of meat and if you're on diet and won't have the rice or the salad, I would suggest you to order something extra. Overall it was a fabulous experience and we will definitely go back again!
Haven't been for years but went this weekend and can confirm it was bloody lovely! Lamb Beyti never let's you down and the set meal for 20 are bang on the money.
Wow had a big 40th for my sister at sumak grill last night and our experience was brilliant! There was 20 of us and The young girl who looked after us all night Kaydar I think her name was she was nothing but amazing to us! We had guest arriving late but that wasn’t a problem they was so helpful and even suprised my sister with a bday treat and song at the end! Lovely people and made us feel so welcome and they had a good laugh with us through out the night! Defo recommend and we will be going back 100% Thankyou!
